Allan Ross Ferguson是新西兰皇家科学院院士，国际园艺学会会士，一直致力于猕猴桃种质资源与新品种选育、猕猴桃栽培和病虫害防控等相关研究工作，发表和出版了一系列富有影响力的论文和著作，是世界著名猕猴桃研究科学家。

Allan Ross Ferguson is a New Zealand botanist who has made significant contributions in the field of kiwifruit scientific investigation. Academic Qualifications: Master of Science (1st Class Honours), University of Auckland, 1967, Microbiology; Doctor of Philosophy, University of Auckland, 1969, Cell Biology; Doctor of Science (h.c.), Victoria University of Wellington, 2011.
